Ukrainian RPL Network

During the event of the EU Erasmus+ project "Qualifications recognition support for Ukrainian universities" (QUARSU) which was held from November 4 to 8, 2024 at the Tallinn University of Applied Sciences (Tallinn, Estonia), the Ukrainian partners of the QUARSU project signed the Declaration on the establishment of the Ukrainian network of recognition of prior learning (Ukrainian RPL network). The founders of the Ukrainian RPL network are National University “Odessa Maritime Academy”, Kherson National Technical University, Sumy State University, Ukrainian National Forestry University, Mariupol State University, and Federation of Employers of Ukraine.  Vadym Zakharchenko, who is national coordinator for Ukraine of Erasmus+ project QUARSU.   

Ukrainian RPL network was established with the ideological support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, and it is open for new members to join. The main goals of the Ukrainian RPL network are:

• Development and popularization of unified approaches to the RPL, including agreed standards, methodologies and criteria.
• Integration of the RPL into the national education system through regulatory and legal support and participation in the preparation of recommendations.
• Support for educational institutions in the RPL implementation, including consultations, resources and educational materials.
• Dissemination of information about the RPL among the public and employers.
